James Franco at January 15th Meeting (2024)

New City Councilman for District 4 (our district)

James Franco at January 15th Meeting (2024)

—-update—- January 27th, 2024
Thank you James Franco, City Council District 4, for joining us at our January Monthly meeting. We’re looking forward to hearing from you again later in the year.

James Franco

James Franco is the new city councilman just elected to represent Baytown Council District 4 in a close runoff election just a few weeks ago. District 4 includes Allenbrook, Country Club, Baybrook, Bellview Acres, Baker Downs, and others.

We asked him to tell us what it’s like to begin this new service position on the City Council.

Of course! there is politics on the City Council just as there is everywhere (even in our own neighborhood, LOL!). So what’s it like knowing you want to get things done, but also knowing everyone else on the council wants to get things done and they’ve all been there longer. Or maybe it’s not like that at all?

James will also answer our questions as time allows:

  • – What’s James’ vision for District 4? – How’s Baytown doing financially (i.e. will our taxes go up or down)?
  • – What improvements are planned for Baytown’s Police, Fire, Water, Traffic, and Parks departments?
  • – How do we get the concrete traffic hazards (aka traffic control islands) on Garth Rd in front of Methodist Hospital removed?

Please join us for our regularly scheduled Allenbrook Neighbors meeting Monday evening, February 19th, at 6:30 pm at Como En Mexico, 407 W. Baker Rd.
